Less than five years after making history, Katie Couric will make the "CBS Evening News" history.
Almost five years ago today, Katie Couric announced that she would take the helm as anchor and managing editor on the network evening newscast, becoming the first woman to hold such a position.
Couric settled nicely into the role as anchor, one many thought she would hold onto for years to come.
Thanks to Jane Lynch, Jason Segel can tell his fellow “How I Met Your Mother” stars that he knows what it feels like to get slushied.
As Lynch worked the crowd and campaigned for iCarly at Nikelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, she didn’t leave her "Glee" character far behind.
Holding a cup, reminiscent of a Big Gulp, Lynch doused Segel.
One of the couples on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will soon be engaged.
Executive producer Bill Prady told TV Guide that someone is proposing in the month of April, and the couple will likely get married – eventually.
Prady said it could be Leonard and Priya, Sheldon and Amy or Howard and Bernadette.
While he won’t say which couple takes the next step, Prady offered a few insights.
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Patrick Dempsey wants to play a different kind of doctor.
Dempsey (a.k.a McDreamy) is rallying for the role of Marvel Comics’ Dr. Strange.
“There’s a whole bunch of people (among the ‘Grey’s’ crew) who are into comics and Marvel, too, on the set and they’re like, ‘Doctor Strange, that’s the one you should do.
‘True Blood’ stud Ryan Kwanten is being hailed a hero.
According to UsMagazine and JustJared, Kwanten saved an injured man in Hollywood Friday night.
"There was a bloody guy lying in the middle of the street at Hollywood and Highland and no one was doing anything," a witness said.
While driving, the 34-year-old Australian actor, "pulled up, saw the man down, jumped out of his car, and raced over to see if he could help.
Leighton Meester is branching out of her role as Blair, making her way towards another big screen opportunity alongside one of the Hollywood’s most lucrative actors.
According to Variety, Meester is being considered for the role of Adam Sandler’s future daughter-in-law in the upcoming comedy “I Hate You Dad.”
If she is cast in the role, it won’t entirely be a laughing matter for Meester.
It was bunnies versus bombers versus evil posessed children this weekend at the box office. Unsurprisingly, the cute littly fluffy bunnies won.
The animated/live-action children's movie "Hop" took the top spot this weekend with a big opening of $38.1 million. Even though the movie was projected to do well, that number exceeded the expectations of many, and considering the movie cost $63 million to produce, it's off to a great start.
One of the interesting things about having two movies tackling the same story is the differences you see in casting.
Take, for example, the two "Snow White" movies currently in development: Relativity's yet-to-be-titled adaptation found its first lead in Julia Roberts, who will play the evil queen. "Snow White and the Huntsman," however, made sure it landed its Snow White before all else, and they got a good one: Kristen Stewart is attached for the role.
