April 04, 2011 @ 2:30 pm PST    Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Keeping Up with The Kardashians , Kourtney and Kim Take New York     Elizabeth Sexton

The honeymoon is over for Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom, but their moment of fame is just beginning.

The happily (and hastily) married couple will show the world what life is like when two (very tall) celebrities hook up on their new reality show “Khloe and Lamar” which debuts April 10.

From the looks of the preview, the show would be fine coming with a viewer’s advisory for an overload of Khloe’s baby-talk voice and PDA warnings.

April 04, 2011 @ 1:52 pm PST    The Hunger Games, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Last Song, The Kids Are All Right, Winter's Bone     Allie Basilica

No need to speculate any further, "The Hunger Games" male lead roles have been filled.

In March we reported that "Winter's Bone" star Jennifer Lawrence would play the lead female role in the upcoming sci-fi thriller and today Lionsgate Entertainment announced two of her male co-stars have been cast.

"The Kids Are All Right" star Josh Hutcherson will play the lead role of Peeta Mellark, exciting news for the young star who reportedly almost made the cut for "The Amazing Spider-Man.

Scandalous! 'Glee' and '90210' Cause Increase in Prom Hotel Bookings in UK
April 04, 2011 @ 11:59 am PST    Glee, 90210     Andy Neuenschwander

Parents are always afraid that their kids will emulate the sex and violence that they see on TV. Right now, kids in the UK seem to be emulating "Glee" and "90210," but hotel chains aren't complaining.

The UK branch of Holiday Inn has reported a 500% increase in hotel bookings at the end of the school year. Why the huge jump? The hotel chain attributes it to a surge in American-style high school proms, made popular by US TV shows like "90210" and "Glee.

Julianne Hough Gets Rising Star Award; ACM Gown Drives Hubba-Hubbas, Search Spike
April 04, 2011 @ 11:27 am PST    Dancing with the Stars, Rock of Ages, Footloose     Richard Sharp

You might think it’s Julianne Hough’s dance moves that have her trending through the roof on Google these days. The two-time “Dancing With the Stars” has won seasons alongside racecar driver Helio Castroneves and speed skater Apolo Ohno.

Or maybe for her country music career. Her self-titled album debuted at #1 on the Top Country Albums a few years ago, and the singer just released a video “Is That So Wrong,” which was banned by CMT for…well…sexy reasons.

'Glee' Creator Ryan Murphy Forgives Kings of Leon...Is All Resolved?
April 04, 2011 @ 10:49 am PST    Glee     Andy Neuenschwander

It's hard to go from blurting out "F*** you!" to forgiving and forgetting, but "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has done just that.

A while back, Murphy began a major feud with rock band Kings of Leon when he yelled "F*** you Kings of Leon!" during a press event in response to KoL not allowing "Glee" to use their hit song "Use Somebody." The band responded by telling Murphy to "buy a new bra," which Murphy saw as a homophobic comment.

Ryan Reynolds Assures Fans, 'Green Lantern' Will Only Make You Laugh a Little Bit
April 04, 2011 @ 10:44 am PST    Green Lantern, Iron Man, The Dark Knight     Scott Nye

I've never really understood this business that anything we've seen of "Green Lantern" thus far is at all problematic. I was - and (funds willing) still would be - a huge comic book consumer, and I remain a fan of the characters intellectually. Green Lantern should have a fair dose of levity, akin to the tone of the "Iron Man" films. It should be funny; not a comedy as such, but there have to be laughs in there.

Holy Snookamoley!: Watch Snooki from 'Jersey Shore' Win Wrestlemania 27 Using Amazing Flip Maneuvers
April 04, 2011 @ 9:06 am PST    Jersey Shore, WWE Raw     Richard Sharp

Here at Yidio, we recently had a discussion over which "Jersey Shore" stars had some sort of actual, discernable talent. Pauly D can DJ, Vinny can (technically) act, but Snooki was up for debate. Sure, she has had a book on the N.Y. Times best-seller list, but a ghostwriter was heavily involved in making that happen. Besides,"has hair poof and orange glowing tan" does not count as an actual talent.

Lady Gaga Kicks Off 'Good Morning America' Summer Concert Series in May
April 04, 2011 @ 8:35 am PST    Good Morning America     Elizabeth Sexton

Lady Gaga will jumpstart the "Good Morning America" summer concert series on May 27.

As TV Guide notes, Gaga is a friend of the ABC morning show, having gone on air with Robin Roberts while wearing a “condom-inspired” style to promote safe sex in February.

In other Gaga news, MTV reports that singer hinted that “someone legendary” is working on the last song, a piano ballad title “You and I” for her album “Born This Way.

In Sync: Justin Timberlake and Olivia Wilde Spotted Out and About
April 04, 2011 @ 8:32 am PST    Now, Tron: Legacy     Allie Basilica

Cry her a river...

Less than a month after announcing his split from actress Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake is cuddling up to "Tron: Legacy" actress Olivia Wilde.

People magazine is reporting that Timberlake and his "Now" co-star Wilde were spotted at the Roxbury in Hollywood Saturday night.

Both actors are newly single but reports as far back as January claim the two have been hot and heavy for some time.

'Hanna' Director Joe Wright Takes 'Sucker Punch' to Task for Sexism
April 04, 2011 @ 8:04 am PST    Sucker Punch, Hanna     Scott Nye

Wondercon, San Francisco's attempt to get their own ComiCon, wrapped up yesterday after its three-day weekend, and somehow amidst the opportunity to pay to see advertisements, fans were also treated to the occasional interesting insight. Or at least a common complaint expressed by someone in the industry.

At a panel to promote his new film "Hanna," about a teenage girl trained to be an assassin, director Joe Wright took a second to call out the false feminism promoted by the 21st century media machine.
