West coast viewers of "Conan" on Tuesday night might have thought that they were in the Twilight Zone. Everything was going fine with the broadcast until something went wrong with the feed.
Viewers were first treated to 23 minutes straight of commercials. That's enough to make any normal person go insane. But as Conan joked about it on last night's show: "We made a fortune!" he exclaimed.
When I think Hitchcock remake, I don't tend to think of Josh Stolberg, screenwriter of such films as "Piranha 3D," "Good Luck Chuck," and "Sorority Row," but then again I don't tend to think of Josh Stolberg at all.
Nevertheless, he's pounding away at a remake of Hitchcock's glamorous 1950s travelogue, "To Catch a Thief."
"I wrote, with Bobby [Florsheim], a remake of 'To Catch a Thief' for Paramount," Stolberg told Moviehole.
My how the world of video is changing.
After spending years obliterating local video stores into submission with ubiquitous locations, outlandish predatory pricing and sheer market leverage, Blockbuster went up on the blocks, the victims of being too big, too slow and too late to the game in embracing on-demand viewing.
For years Blockbuster's business model was based largely on billing and collecting late fees for their videos.
In “Everything’s Different, Nothing’s Changed,” Mary Alice’s fortune-cookie presented the perfect foreshadowing:
“We never know the moment our lives will change forever.”
First we find out that Susan has a kidney donor, while Paul is learning that Beth took her own life. This latest suicide shocks the women of Fairview. Bree wishes she could have been there for her.
The Challenge: The girls compete to model for Ford's "Warriors in Pink" campaign.
When they arrive to Smashbox Studios they find out that photographer and judge Nigel Barker will be shooting the models for a breast cancer awareness spread.
Kasia quickly finishes her shoot. Brittani struggles to get the right “smize” and eventually she breaks down in tears.
It's been less than a week since the premiere of the official trailer for "The Hangover: Part II," and already it's causing controversy!
The trailer, which you can watch here, was apparently deemed to racy to appear before a PG-13 film such as "Source Code," which screened the trailer before showtimes this past weekend. In fact, the trailer might even be too inappropriate to play before R-rated films as well.
I guess you could say that “American Idol” runner-up Blake Lewis is a Casey guy.
Though the multi-talented, fauxhawk-wearing, heavily-tattooed, beat-boxing dance music phenom won’t say who his favorite is for the entire season, he did tell Yidio in an exclusive interview that Casey Abrams "got the first vote I cast this season” for his risen-from-the-Idol-dead performance last week.
It's still another two weeks until "Glee" returns, but that doesn't mean we can't get some new previews!
You might have missed it as it followed a rerun, but there was a new promo for the last two episodes of this season after a rerun of "Glee" last night.
For the most part, it showed us the same stuff that we saw in the last preview: Mercedes is a diva, Santana is getting slushied, and Sue is starting an evil group of Will Schuester nemeses.
Stephen Colbert has beef with James Franco: "Why is he the 'Renaissance Man' and not me?" Colbert whined on "The Colbert Report" last night.
Colbert ran through a comically long laundry list of Franco's recent achievements, including his many academic endeavors, his forays into painting, his guest appearances on "General Hospital," his film appearances, and his hosting duties at the The Academy Awards.
Just how real is the “Real Housewives of New York City” – or any city series for that matter?
It’s a good question, and one that Joy Behar slammed on the women from the Big Apple after the spoke about conflicts that were “drama for the show.”
“So you’re saying that things are faked?” Behar asked during their appearance on “The View.
