During his time as the host of "Survivor," Jeff Probst has hosted in some of the wildest, most remote areas of the world. But none of them are as scary and unforgiving as the world he is about to enter: the world of daytime television.
Probst has struck a deal with CBS that has him developing a daytime talk show with the network, set to premiere in fall 2012. The show will be an hour-long deal, dividing its time between news stories and human interest stories, as Probst covers events and conducts interviews.

Some celebrities auction off signed photos or movie memorabilia for charities. "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart auctions off her sneakers.
K-Stew has donated a pair of her very own black Keds to Shoe Revolt, a website that auctions off celebrity shoes and sells other shoes and accessories, all to support a cause. The site aims to raise money to help stop human trafficking, especially trafficking of children into prostitution rings, and to rehabilitate those who have been mistreated by the criminals involved in said trafficking.

Be warned: there will be SPOILERS of the season four premiere of "True Blood" ahead. So if you haven't seen it, don't continue on just yet. And if you do, don't go showing me your fangs because of it. There were a few surprises to the season four premiere of "True Blood," but perhaps none quite as shocking as the glimpse we got into one character's new life.

If you've seen the billboards for "Falling Skies," you may have noticed that a lot of them feature the children with their harnesses on pretty overtly. While the harnesses didn't play a major role in the first two episodes last week, it looks like the fight for the children might end up being the crux of the show...or at least of this season.
This week's episode picked up where the last left off, with Tom and his squad heading out to find Ben and rescue him.

At the end of last season, Sookie stepped through the Bon Temps cemetery to her ancestral alternate fairy plane. As you do. It seriously looks like a sedate circuit/toga party over there, most everyone's dressed in white and blissing out on glowing fairy fruit, including Sookie's own supposedly dead grandpa. She rightfully reads his presence as a huge red flag and uses her jazz hands superpower to get the hell out of there. For now, Sookie makes it through and arrives in Bon Temps just over a year after she left. A lot has changed. Let's catch up, shall we?

This weekend, Johnny Knoxville penned a heartbreaking blog post to his recently departed "Jackass" cohort Ryan Dunn, showing a mixture of anger, disappointment, resentment and sadness. Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, fans of Dunn and "Jackass" were contributing to a rapidly growing memorial to Dunn at the spot of the horrific accident.

There's persistence, and then there's stubbornness: after a poor showing at the box office over its first two weekends, "Green Lantern" is still in the running to get a sequel from Warner Bros.
Under normal circumstances, it would be a no-brainer. "Green Lantern" has two hot leads (Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively), wide audience appeal, and all the makings of a summer blockbuster. But the movie opened to only $52.6 million, and even worse, dropped 66% in its second weekend, due in part to awful reviews.
