Just as AMC is becoming the place to go on cable for dramas ("Mad Men," "Breaking Bad," "The Killing"), so is FX becoming the place to go for comedy. The network's own "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" has become a certified cable hit, and new animated series "Archer" has completed two seasons and is up for yet another.
Two of the network's newer comedies, "Louie" and "Wilfred," premiered Thursday night.

The first season of "The Voice" is almost over, but the serious competition is just beginning. Next week brings the finale episodes, which include the final four contestants singing original singles as well as duets with their coaches.
But Dia Frampton, the contestant on Team Blake, won't just be singing with her coach Blake Shelton. She'll also be singing with his wife! Country star Miranda Lambert (who tied the knot with Shelton recently) will be appearing on the show on the very last live results episode to sing a duet with Dia.

Hollywood lost a legend today as Peter Falk, prolific actor and star of "Columbo," passed away at 83.
Falk played the title role in the detective TV show "Columbo" for over thirty years, starring in "Columbo" specials as recently as 2003. The wisecracking detective was the original "House," a character that was clever and cool while solving mysteries in the early days of TV procedurals.

We're not sure if you've heard, but there's this show on HBO. It's about vampires and werewolves and witches and such. From what we hear it's sort of popular. But you probably wouldn't like it. It's pretty dark, and it has lot of sex. Oh and vampire blood. Lots of vampire blood. I know, right? Gross. We've got a whole bunch of trailers for season four of the show - if you like that kind of thing.

Even Snooki isn't safe from outsourcing, it seems. MTV announced this week that after season five, "Jersey Shore" will be completely recast, allowing the current cast to go on to do their own lucrative spin-offs, and MTV to go about the business of hiring a brand new crew, who will doubtlessly work for much lower wages.

When started rumors circulated yesterday via E! that Dave Chappelle was ramping up his standup appearances in order to prepare for a brand new show, possibly streaming exclusively on Netflix, we were geeked. While his reps have denied it, there's clearly something afoot in Chappelle's world, and we're crossing our fingers that he's coming back. Find out what we know so far.

To think that, if everything had gone according to schedule, we could all have been enjoying brand-new episodes of Fox's "Terra Nova" for the past few months is a frustrating thought. Alas, it turns out that CGI dinosaurs aren't as easy to make as you would think.
But in anticipation of the new Steven Spielberg-produced show's release in the fall, Fox has released three promotional posters that are both tongue-in-cheek and just a little bit terrifying.
