July 24, 2011 @ 4:55 pm PST    Fringe, Lost, Community, Dawson's Creek, The League, Parks & Recreation, Heroes     Morgan Glennon
Will the real Peter Bishop please stand up? Last season, "Fringe" ended with a doozy of a cliffhanger. When the show's two realities merged an important factor was left out of the equation: Joshua Jackson's Peter Bishop. While none of the show's characters seem to remember Peter, some ambitious stars certainly do and think a recast might be in the offing. Everyone from "Community" star Danny Pudi to "Lost" actor Jorge Garcia are vying for a chance to star on the cult Fox sci-fi hit.

July 24, 2011 @ 4:50 pm PST    Captain America: The First Avenger, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Friends with Benefits, Horrible Bosses     Andy Neuenschwander
So far, the superhero hauls for summer of 2011 have been a bit unpredictable. "Green Lantern," which seemed a sure thing, opened lower than expected, and "Thor," which was considered a risky endeavor, brought in a healthy $65.7 million in its first weekend. So with "Captain America: The First Avenger" opening this weekend, the question was whether it would fly, or be a flop.
