Hollywood, 'The Daily Show' React to President Obama's Gay Marriage Support
May 10, 2012 @ 3:12 pm PST    The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Will & Grace, Smash , How I Met Your Mother     Andy Neuenschwander
Now that President Obama and Vice President Biden have both voiced official support of gay marriage, Hollywood is being much more vocal in support of the administration. Here's what some of the celebs out there, including Jon Stewart, had to say.

Bristol Palin Attacks Barack Obama, His Kids, Gay Marriage and 'Glee'....All At Once
May 10, 2012 @ 2:15 pm PST    Glee, Dancing with the Stars , Sarah Palin's Alaska, Sarah Palin: The Undefeated, Sarah Palin: You Betcha!, Good Morning America     Sean Comer
After reading all this, I kind of wish it had been Sarah Palin that had spoken up first, instead of her daughter. Nobody knows all about the sanctity of marriage quite like a 21-year-old unwed mother. Bristol Palin's rambling taking-to-task of President Obama's reversal of course regarding gay marriage had her invoking Obama's kids, "Glee" and Dora the Explorer....in the same amazing blog.

May 10, 2012 @ 1:38 pm PST    The X Factor, American Idol     Sean Comer
Fighting words? Maybe. With a deal seemingly all but done with pop icon Britney Spears, "The X Factor" seemingly has that pesky judges-wanted SNAFU solved. But there's still the matter of making sure the world knows. To that end, Cowell wouldn't mind making a very special announcement on the stage that started it all: this season's "American Idol" finale.

Chris Harrison Not Open To Starring On 'The Bachelor'
May 10, 2012 @ 1:36 pm PST    The Bachelor, The Bachelorette     Sean Comer
It's a tad surreal seeing prime time's emcee of romance going through a split after an 18-year marriage. Still, Harrison has some questions he'll answer right off the bat: first and foremost, he won't be going from host of "The Bachelor" to contestant any time soon. Second, from the sounds of it, ladies shouldn't necessarily think the helicopter and limo rides come standard with dating him.

'Cougar Town' Leaves ABC, Headed To TBS
May 10, 2012 @ 12:58 pm PST    Cougar Town, Scrubs     Sean Comer
The shades of 2008 and "Scrubs" are hard to ignore. "Cougar Town", after a disappointing return from hiatus, won't be back under the ABC banner next fall. That's the bad news. The good news? TBS has enthusiastically picked up the Bill Lawrence comedy for a fourth season to air on cable.

George Clooney's Obama Fundraiser Under Tight Security
May 10, 2012 @ 12:00 pm PST    The Ides of March, Syriana, Good Night, and Good Luck., ER, Ocean's Eleven, The Ellen DeGeneres Show     Sean Comer
Federal and local officials have covered nearly base. George Clooney's home - the site of a $40,000-plate fundraiser for President Obama's re-election campaign - has been effectively sealed off. Security ranges from Secret Service detail, to Los Angeles Police Department both uniformed and plain-clothes personnel with bomb-sniffing dogs, a Counter Terrorist Unit team and air support.

What Would The Destruction In 'The Avengers' Have Really Cost?
May 10, 2012 @ 11:58 am PST    The Avengers     Sean Comer
Dear Lord. Twelve figures would buy a lot of brooms. The damage wrought by the showdown between Loki and The Avengers would've racked up an estimated $160 billion in clean-up. That's about double what it cost to clean up and rebuild following the Sept. 11 attacks. And still, one scientist calls Loki's boys "amateurs" compared to the aliens in "Independence Day".

FOX Renews 'Touch', Cancels 'The Finder' And 'Alcatraz'
May 10, 2012 @ 11:52 am PST    Touch, The Finder, Alcatraz , Firefly, Sliders     Sean Comer
Well, there's good news and bad news for sci-fi/supernatural fans who watch FOX. Good news! "Touch" has been renewed and will be back for a second season. Bad news: "Alcatraz" won't be back and the May 11 episode of "The Finder" will be the "Bones" spin-off's series finale.

Flight Record Might Clear Travolta From Sexual Harassment Accusations
May 10, 2012 @ 11:49 am PST    The Expendables 2, Pulp Fiction, Saturday Night Fever     Sean Comer
Well, that's that. Earlier this week, John Travolta was hit with a $2-million sexual harassment lawsuit by a Los Angeles masseur. There was just this one problem: Travolta can prove several times over that he was on the opposite coast on the day the alleged incident took place. The apparent scammer claimed that Travolta stripped naked, masturbated and tried soliciting sexual favors from the man.
