Just in time for Mother's Day weekend, The Weinstein Company has announced that its silent French romantic dramedy is headed back into theaters this coming weekend. Made on only a $15-million budget, the unexpected hit earned five 2012 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Not only has John Travolta denied propositioning a masseur for sex, he's rumored to want to counter-sue for malicious prosecution. The masseur in question wants $2 million for his claim that Travolta masturbated in front of and tried to coax sexual favors from a masseur brought to his residence for a two-hour session.

Not that it will make a world of difference, but for some reason, "Prometheus" has been given the MPAA's "R" rating. Historically, a PG-13 the perfect box-office rating - just raw enough without legislating out too big an audience. Nevertheless, an R isn't a death sentence. Considerations on paper aside, movies have overcome the restriction and came out smelling like a rose.
