Jeff Buckley was a young, stunningly attractive singer-songwriter with a glorious voice and a rabid following. He died from drowning while swimming in the Mississippi at the age of 31.

At the time of his death, he was reportedly floating on his back singing the chorus to Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” True story. Sad, but true.

Now “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is reportedly in talks to play the young legend in and upcoming biopic.

Bringing in an even broader audience (perhaps those among us who chose to rock the choir high rises instead of the football benches), “Glee star” Lea Michele will sing “America the Beautiful” during pregame festivities.

Michele joins legends like Ray Charles, Faith Hill, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, and Vicki Carr who are among the only singers bestowed the game day honor of singing this song.

Over the last couple of days, protests in Egypt have turned into a full-scale revolution, with thousands of protestors streaming through the streets in violent clashes with police in an effort to remove Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak from office. They've burned down the headquarters of the ruling national party and are brazenly taking on national military forces.

The videos coming from Egypt are nothing short of shocking, disturbing and just plain mind-boggling.

Sean “Diddy” Combs wears many hats: producer, actor, rapper, singer and fashion designer.  He’ll soon be adding one more to that list, perhaps in the form of a deerstalker (Sherlock Holmes-style).

Diddy will be making a guest star appearance in “Hawaii Five-O” as a New York detective. The show is a remake on the classic series and highlights the work of an elite task force that wipes out serious crime.

Turns out punching a man in the face may not be such a bright thing to do, even on "Jersey Shore."

The whole cast of “Jersey Shore” are apparently excited for the upcoming fourth season of the MTV reality show, which the network recently announced will be filmed in Italy. According to MTV, shooting will start this spring but Ronald “Ronnie” Ortiz-Magro may not be able to join the cast in Italy because of the assault charge filed against him.

“30 Rock” Star Tracy Morgan is known for being a little off his rocker, but at a recent unscripted stop by the “Inside the NBA” desk at Madison Square Garden during the Knicks-Heat pregame, he really kicked it up a notch.

If you liked watching tough and sexy angels working for their faceless boss Charlie on the big screen, you're in luck. ABC is launching a reboot of the popular 70's show. Though there's no sign of Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu or Cameron Diaz, the network is bringing in a new team of lookers to play "Charlie's Angels."

There are even more details being released about Charlie Sheen and his wild night the other day.

Lots of rumors are flying around saying that at the beginning of his shindig he got a briefcase full of cocaine. On the other extreme, Charlie’s people say it is a hiatal hernia (caused by extra exertion perhaps?) and nothing more.

The interesting part of the story is that Charlie had a business meeting before the party got started, and he apparently wants to start a porn family and keep his favorite gals together under one roof.

Though he's still heavily involved with Sundance,  Robert Redford hasn’t spent much time in front of (or behind) the camera in recent years.

But he did step behind the camera last year to direct the highly anticipated film "The Conspirator," featuring Sean Penn's ex-wife Robin Wright and James McAvoy.

There has been some buzz about the Redford-directed movie, but not much to back it up until now.
