TLC will premiere a new series that gives “My Super Sweet Sixteen” a run for its Louis Vuitton-Cupcakes and Blinged-out Bentleys.
On February 21st, TLC takes viewers to the inside circle of extravagant children celebrations with "Outrageous Kid Parties." The series debut, of the first of four 30-minute episodes, will be appropriately followed by an all new “Cake Boss.
As we’ve been reporting, the MTV show “Skins” has been at the center of all kinds of controversy after the ominous-sounding Parent’s Television Council called the show the “most dangerous show on TV" for kids. Now the group is escalating things by contacting state attorney generals to allege that both the MTV show and the satellite providers that air it may be violating child pornography laws.
As “American Idol” Season 10 continues to search for the most talented singer in America, Jennifer Lopez admits being emotionally affected by contestants in the singing reality show.
During a conversation via satellite with Access Hollywood Billy Bush and Kit Hoover, the singer-actress said, “I think told you last time I was here how emotionally involved we are and how connected we get to the contestants.

Lois Lane? No thanks.
Producers of "Superman: Man of Steel" recently announced that Henry Cavill from the BBC TV series “The Tudors” has been cast in the lead role as Clark Kent in the new film, which will be directed by Zack Snyder. Now to find his Lois Lane.
Kristin Stewart was apparently the top choice for the role, but decided to say "meh.
“Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky is directing a new version of “The Wolverine” movie, and he has apparently instructed Hugh Jackman to build more muscles to look more powerful and stocky, just like his character Logan in the original comics.
The L.A. Times interviewed Jackman about “The Wolverine” and according to the actor, he is currently undergoing a rigorous training and diet in preparation for his role in the movie.
Frodo Baggins the pirate?
According to Hollywood Reporter, Donald Sutherland and Elijah Wood have recently landed roles in the new Syfy movie "Treasure Island." The classic tale, originally written by Robert Louis Stevenson, is being made in to a two-part TV network movie.
It will be filmed in Ireland and in Puerto Rico, and a release date is tentatively scheduled for early 2012.
'Desperate Housewives’ starlet Eva Longoria is now officially a single woman. And that’s probably a good thing, since a romance between her and Eduardo Cruz seems to be in the works. Eduardo is the brother to Penelope Cruz.
Eva was married to NBA star Tony Parker for three years. Rumors of infidelity on Tony’s part surfaced and was part of the problem with their marriage it seems.
Christina Applegate is now a mom. The star, who has suffered from and recently recovered from breast cancer, is a mom to a baby girl. Christina and her fiancé Martyn LeNoble welcomed their daughter last Thursday. Mother and baby are both said to be doing well in the LA.. area.
Christina and Martyn named their baby Sadie Grace LeNoble. The pregnancy was kept a secret until Christina was caught on camera a few months ago with a bump.
Lindsay Lohan might have found herself in trouble again. Well, she is in trouble again, but to what extent is not exactly known yet. Lindsay was on a shopping trip with a friend last week and the necklace Lindsay had tried on went missing.
Now the trouble comes in because Lindsay was caught on security camera trying it on. Later in the day it was gone. Coincidence?
Police had enough evidence that they were gathering the details to get a search warrant for Lindsay’s house.
Leighton Meester from "Gossip Girl" has a new movie coming out. It’s called "Roommate" and it follows the life of a college girl with a less-than-honest roommate. Minka Kelly plays her roommate.
Since she plays a college co-ed, officials thought this was a good tie in to do a PSA for college-aged kids. And surprisingly, it hasn’t been done before, even though millions of people go off to college each year.
