What the Franco? Oscar Host Skips Bash. Was He Sick - or Just Sick of Anne?

While most people make excuses to get out of school, James Franco reportedly skipped his own post-Oscar bash in order to get back to class in New York.

Apparently, Franco tweeted his reason for ditching the post ceremony celebration, but critics say it’s hard to believe he couldn’t find a substitute – he is the one who teaches the class.

Perhaps, the answer could actually be the critics.

Last night's "How I Met Your Mother" was all about the heart, literally and figuratively. After Marshall's dad passes away, the whole gang decides to get their hearts checked, except for Barney.

Is it because he's so afraid of emotional commitment that he doesn't even want to know what his heart is doing? Nope. He's just scared.

The doctor has him wear a heart rate monitor for 24 hours to keep track of any irregularities.

Something like that, but Kim Kardashian must not mind singing it. The curvaceous reality mistress has gone topless once again, posing for “The Sun.”

Fans love her banging body, so what gives with all the claims from Kim that she is “insecure” about exposing her nude body?

Hopefully she’s not working on a new concept, "The Girl Who Cried Nudie.

How is it possible that Oprah – talk show queen of the universe – is lacking viewers for her OWN network?

Oprah’s new channel, it seems, needs a miracle. Viewership averages 135,000 per day, which is small stuff for television, let alone acceptable for the media goddess and host of one of the longest running daytime talk shows - at 24 seasons.

The channel went on air in January and viewership is already down 10 percent.

After eight seasons playing Jack Bauer on the hit show "24", you would think Kiefer Sutherland would take a break for a while. But the actor is set to get back to work soon, as he has been cast in the pilot for the new supernatural drama "Touch."

The show, which was created by "Heroes" mastermind Tim Kring, centers on a father (played by Sutherland), who finds out that his mute, autistic son can predict future events.

Apparently Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (“Robsten”) are stripping down to the raw facets of married life, with multiple steamy, rough sex scenes.

Video game adaptations aren't always the most successful movies at the box office, but Screen Gems has found an exception in the Resident Evil series. Their set of four movies based off of the Capcom games have grossed almost $600 million in total, and the most recent installment, "Resident Evil: Afterlife," grossed half of that on its own.

Now, Screen Gems is planning to adapt another popular Capcom series: "Devil May Cry.

What a Girl Wants.. is to stay out of handcuffs!

Early this morning singer Christina Aguilera was arrested in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication after her 25-year-old boyfriend Matthew Rutler was pulled over on suspicion of DUI.

An L.A. County Sheriff's department spokesperson confirmed that officers pulled Rutler over after observing him driving erratically.

Russell starred in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," "His Kind of Woman," "Double Dynamite," "The Paleface," and "Macao," though she is known best for the Howard Huges film that launched her career, "The Outlaw."

"The Outlaw" didn’t launch her career because it was such a great role, but because of controversy over what Entertainment Weekly called her "death defying curves.
