I have good news and bad news: the good news is that the original "Star Wars" trilogy will be re-released in theaters with a 3D upgrade. The bad news is that the prequels (Episodes I, II, and III) will be re-released first.
It's hardly any surprise that special effects enthusiast George Lucas wants to upgrade his movies into 3D. The technology is finally here, and Lucas has been talking about it for a while.

The internet can be a strange place. Where else could you find memes like "Tom Selleck, a waterfall, and a sandwich?" Now, comedy blog Wonder-Tonic has created a new meme involving the most unlikely of subjects: Teck Holmes from "The Real World: Hawaii."
The Tumblr blog "Teck Puns" features a collection of visual puns featuring Teck, like "Glenn Teck" for a photo superimposing Teck's face on the body of a certain Fox News pundit.

Michael Cera has proven himself to be pretty darned hilarious, not only in movies like "Superbad," "Juno," or the vastly under-seen "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," but also in small web videos: if you haven't seen him in "Drunk History" you should check it out now.
Go ahead, I'll wait.
Are you back? Pretty good, right? Well, Michael Cera is starring in a new short web series, this time produced by Collegehumor.

When your Tweets are getting no love, what’s next?
James Franco can’t get away from critical eyes these days. Franco, who is pursuing a doctorate in English at Yale, was recently dissed in publication by a Yale University student for having twitter skills like “a fourteen-year-old girl with emo bangs and a Tumblr account.”
Yale Daily News writer Cokey Cohen actually blogged about Franco’s Twitter account the day before the Oscars.

Paula Abdul may have wanted to take two steps back last Valentines Day after having to call 911 on her date.
On Feb. 14, while driving near Santa Barbara, a crying Abdul called 911, telling the operator that she wanted to go and her "cold-hearted snake" of a boyfriend wouldnt let her.
Are you gonna drop me off, cause I have emergency on the phone? she proceeded to ask her unidentified boyfriend.

"Castle" and "Firefly" star Nathan Fillion learned an important lesson recently: be careful what you say, even off-handedly, or else the internet will take you completely seriously.
In a recent interview, Fillion (who played Captain Malcolm Reynolds on the cult hit show "Firefly") said that if he won the lottery and got $300 million, he would buy the rights to "Firefly" and distribute it on the internet.

There probably isn't a soul alive (okay, a Gleek soul anyway) who wasn't completely floored when they saw the dramatic prowess of Mike O'Malley in his role as Burt Hummel on "Glee."
Who would have thought that the host of Nickelodeon's "Guts" would have it in him to command some of the best scenes in the one of the biggest shows on television?
People are starting to notice that Mike can act circles around most other actors his age, as he has been tapped to play the lead in a new FOX pilot titled "Family Album.

Artist and graphic designer Olly Moss has a very obvious love of movies: his website features a number of re-imaginings of movie posters, usually in a vintage paperback style.
Browse around his website and you'll see a collection of stunning posters called "Films in Black and Red," and eye-catching designs for shows like "Lost" and "Star Trek."
Moss' most recent project is a set of posters for two Duncan Jones films: one is for the Sam Rockwell movie "Moon" (which, by the way, features a really stunning performance by

Even though neither collaboration resulted in the Academy Awards their respective studios were probably hoping for, David Fincher is bringing collaborators from his last two films along for his first TV series.
Eric Roth, who wrote "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," was already onboard as Executive Producer, and now, according to Variety, Kevin Spacey, who was himself Executive Producer on "The Social Network," is onboard to star in the show and do a little executive producing of his own.

If you happen to have a smartphone or tablet computer, then you probably already know exactly how fun and addictive Finnish game developer Rovio's "Angry Birds" is. If you haven't played it, you're lucky that it hasn't sapped hours and hours from your life as it has with many of the rest of us.
For those who are unfamiliar, Angry Birds is one of the most popular games for iPhone and Android, in which you launch birds at evil pigs using a slingshot.
