Ep 10. Episode 10

The episode begins with Lu Yi and Yuan Jinxia setting off on a mission to catch the leader of the Daping case, who is believed to be hiding in a remote village. They are joined by their trusted ally, Liu Yi. Upon arriving at the village, they quickly realize that their task will not be easy as the villagers are hostile towards outsiders. The villagers are particularly wary of outsiders due to a recent string of robberies in their village, which have been blamed on outsiders.

Yuan Jinxia and Lu Yi devise a plan to blend in with the villagers by disguising themselves as a married couple. However, their plan quickly falls apart when the villagers become suspicious of their true identities. Liu Yi steps in to save them, but he is soon captured by the villagers. Yuan Jinxia and Lu Yi are forced to flee from the village to avoid capture.

As they travel through the mountains, they stumble upon a temple where they meet a monk named Huiyun. Huiyun tells them that the villagers are being controlled by an evil force, which has taken over their minds and is causing them to behave in unusual ways. Huiyun agrees to help them defeat the evil force, but he warns them that it will not be easy.

Meanwhile, Jin Xiaotian, the Chief of the Jinyiwei, is also hot on the trail of the leader of the Daping case. He has tracked down one of the key members of the case, but before he can capture him, he is ambushed by a group of unknown assailants. Jin Xiaotian barely manages to escape with his life and seeks refuge at the Jinyiwei headquarters.

Back in the village, Yuan Jinxia and Lu Yi are ambushed by the villagers who have been transformed into mindless zombies by the evil force. They manage to fight them off, but not before Liu Yi is severely injured. Yuan Jinxia and Lu Yi realize that they need to find a way to defeat the evil force once and for all.

With the help of Huiyun, they devise a plan to lure the evil force out of hiding. They set a trap and wait for the evil force to arrive. When it does, they engage it in a fierce battle. The evil force is powerful, but Yuan Jinxia and Lu Yi manage to weaken it by destroying its source of power.

With the evil force defeated, the villagers return to their normal selves. Liu Yi's injuries are also healed, and they set off to continue their mission to catch the leader of the Daping case.

Meanwhile, Jin Xiaotian is horrified to discover that the attack on him was carried out by members of his own organization. He confronts them and demands to know why they would betray the Jinyiwei. They reveal that they were paid by a mysterious figure to kill him and that there are others within the organization who have been bought off by this same figure.

The episode ends with Jin Xiaotian realizing that he is facing an unknown enemy who is using his own organization to destroy him. He resolves to find out who this enemy is and to stop them before they can ruin everything he has worked so hard to build.
