Under the Power is a Chinese historical drama that aired from 2019 to 2020. Produced by SPO Entertainment Inc., it stars Allen Ren and Seven Tan as the main characters. Set during the Northern Song Dynasty, the show centers around the secret police force called the Jing Yi Wei. The two main characters - Yuan Jin Xia (played by Seven Tan) and Zhou Yi Tang (played by Allen Ren) - are both members of this force, though they have different reasons for joining.

Yuan Jin Xia is a skilled martial artist who wants to clear her father's name, as he was wrongfully accused of being a traitor and executed during a previous dynasty. She joins the Jing Yi Wei to investigate the corruption and conspiracy within the government, hoping to uncover the truth behind her father's death.

Zhou Yi Tang, on the other hand, is more interested in enjoying life and being carefree. As the son of a prominent general, he has little interest in politics and prefers to play the role of a playboy. However, when his father is framed for a crime he didn't commit, Zhou Yi Tang joins the Jing Yi Wei to clear his family's name.

As they work together to uncover the corruption and conspiracy, Yuan Jin Xia and Zhou Yi Tang find themselves drawn to each other despite their vastly different backgrounds and personalities. However, their romance is complicated by the fact that they are both hiding secrets from each other - secrets that could potentially destroy their growing relationship.

Alongside the main storyline, Under the Power also features various subplots and supporting characters. One of the most notable is the relationship between the emperor and his concubine, which serves as a backdrop to the political machinations and power struggles within the government.

Mao Haifeng ruins the village and takes away Uncle Bagger. Lu Yi is poisoned in order to protect Yuan Jinxia. Yuan Jinxia asks Mao Haifeng to take them to Zhenjiang's boundary, in exchange of the drawing of making her pistol.

Yang Yue comforts Shangguan Xi, who is sad about Xie Xiao's affection to Yuan Jinxia, and the two become closer.

Lu Yi and Yuan Jinxia find that the ghost ship is a trick to allow the real thief of the gift trunks to hide them. The real thief, Sha Xiuzhu, is arrested. They find some trunks back, but two are missing. A man in black appears and tries to save Sha Xiuzhu, but Lu Yi stops him. The man in black escapes and takes out the missing two trunks at a shore.

On the ship to the South, some trunks with birthday gifts are gone. Yuan Jinxia and Yang Yue are framed to be the thieves, and Lu Yi promises to prove their innocence by finding out the real thief. While they are investigating, there comes the ghost ship! Lu Yi, not believing the existence of ghost ship, brings Yuan Jinxia to board it.
