Ep 4. Roses, Wine and the Conspiracy

Oscar and André stop at an inn to rest on their journey to the Queen's estate. There, they meet Countess de Polignac, a former friend of Marie Antoinette who has become deeply involved in palace intrigues. Meanwhile, the queen holds a lavish party to celebrate the delivery of Austrian roses to Versailles, but it is soon interrupted by a threatening note warning of an imminent attack on the palace. Oscar is summoned to investigate and discovers a plot involving the military and foreign powers to overthrow the monarchy. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, Oscar must navigate the dangerous political landscape to protect the queen and uphold her duty as a loyal member of the Royal Guard.
