Ep 15. The Countess of the Casino

Oscar finds herself in hot water as she investigates a scandal involving the Queen's brother, the Comte d'Artois. The Countess of the Casino, a wealthy and influential woman, has been accused of cheating at cards and Oscar must get to the bottom of the matter before it tarnishes the royal family's reputation. Meanwhile, André gets caught up in the political intrigue surrounding the Comte d'Artois and finds himself questioning his loyalty to the Crown.

As Oscar delves deeper into the investigation, she uncovers a web of lies and deceit that leads her to suspect that the Countess of the Casino may not be completely innocent. However, Oscar soon finds herself at odds with her own conscience as she realizes that she may be putting the Queen's reputation at risk by pursuing the matter.

Meanwhile, André becomes increasingly disillusioned with the aristocracy and their self-serving ways. He finds himself drawn to the common people and begins to question whether he can continue to serve a monarch who seems to care so little for the needs of her subjects.
