As Kermit and the gang prepare for the opening of their new bar - "Up Late with Miss Piggy" - they face a series of challenges in the form of staff shortages, malfunctioning equipment, and a last-minute scheduling snafu with guest star Josh Groban. Amidst the chaos, Gonzo and Pepe hatch a plan to impress a group of Chinese investors by hosting a traditional tea ceremony. However, they quickly realize that they have no idea how to make tea, let alone perform a ceremony.
Meanwhile, Miss Piggy is dealing with her own issues as she struggles with a mysterious rash that threatens to derail her big opening night. She is convinced that the rash is a result of stress and demands that her assistant, Yolanda, find a way to relieve her anxiety. Yolanda suggests that Piggy try silk therapy, where she will be wrapped in silk cocoons and left to relax. Piggy reluctantly agrees, but things quickly go awry when she is forgotten in the cocoon and left to suffocate.
As the night wears on, everything seems to be going wrong for the gang. The audience dwindles, the equipment continues to malfunction, and Josh Groban is nowhere to be found. Just when all hope seems lost, the Chinese investors arrive and Gonzo and Pepe spring into action, performing a hilarious and ultimately successful tea ceremony. The investors are impressed and agree to invest in the bar, saving the gang from financial ruin.
Meanwhile, Piggy is still trapped in her silk cocoon and begins to hallucinate. She imagines herself as a superhero, fighting crime and saving the day. She eventually breaks free of the cocoon, realizing that she doesn't need silk therapy to make her feel better - she just needs to embrace her true identity as a strong and independent woman.
As the night comes to a close, the gang celebrates their successful opening and reflects on the challenges they faced along the way. It's clear that no matter what obstacles they may encounter in the future, they'll be able to handle them as long as they stick together.
