As Tom and Ben get closer to discovering who or what the Takers are, family resentments begin to rise to the surface. In the Resister's house Kate and Martha are locked in a desperate struggle for survival. In the wake of Meredith's announcement, widespread distrust and panic erupts amongst the public. Danny and his friends realize that their prank has had devastating repercussions for Cass, forcing Danny to take drastic action. As she awaits the arrival of her children, Meredith comes to understand that she hasn't escaped danger just yet. To secure her family's safety, Meredith makes a risky proposition.
