Tom and Kate race frantically to save their daughter and to stop The Takers, but Kate can't hide how severely injured she is for much longer. Tom must leave Kate behind in a place of safety. Meanwhile, Martha pushes Ben to question the real reason why Tom has always been Lawrence's favorite son. Martha goads Ben - doesn't he want to find out what Lawrence did all those years ago? When Tom finally gets to Ben and Martha a catastrophic fight breaks out between the brothers and Tom discovers the shocking truth about his childhood. But is he too late to save his family? Forced to face the consequences for her treachery, Meredith faces the possibility that she won't be reunited with her family. Evelyn finally finds out the truth about what really happened to Max.
