Ep 4. Showdown

In episode 4 of The Chi season 2, titled "Showdown," tensions continue to simmer between Brandon and Reg as they struggle to coexist in their shared workspace. Meanwhile, Kevin deals with the aftermath of his traumatic experience with the police, which has left him shaken and distrustful of the authorities. As he tries to come to terms with what happened, his friendship with Jake is put to the test when they clash over Kevin's newfound activism.

Elsewhere, Ronnie receives an unexpected visit from his estranged son, who has come to Chicago looking for answers about his past. As Ronnie tries to make amends with his son, he finds himself forced to confront some uncomfortable truths about his own history.

Meanwhile, Emmett faces a crisis of his own when he learns that his mother is planning to sell the family business. Desperate to keep the business and his livelihood intact, he turns to some of his shady acquaintances in the hopes of securing a loan.

As tensions escalate and old wounds are reopened, the characters of The Chi must confront some of the harsh realities of life on Chicago's south side. With the future uncertain and danger lurking around every corner, they must find a way to keep their heads up and fight for their dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their way, or will they be consumed by the chaos and violence of their environment? Only time will tell.
