Ep 24. Episode 24 - Heart's Recollections, Three

The episode begins with a flashback to Lag's childhood, where he is being tutored by Aunt Sabrina. As she teaches him about the world outside of their hometown, Lag realizes that he wants to become a Letter Bee and see the world for himself. The flashback ends and we see Lag, Niche, and Steak continuing their journey to find Gauche Suede.

Along the way, Lag reflects on his memories of Gauche and how much he looked up to him as a Letter Bee. He remembers the day Gauche left to become a Marauder and how he promised to return one day. Lag is determined to find Gauche and help him return to his old self.

As they travel through a mysterious forest, Lag and Niche encounter a group of insects called the Serra. The Serra attack them, but they are saved by a mysterious figure who appears out of nowhere. The figure reveals herself to be Sylvette Suede, Gauche's younger sister.

Sylvette takes them to her home and tells them the story of how Gauche became a Marauder. It turns out that Gauche was forced to join the group in order to save Sylvette's life. The Marauders had taken Sylvette hostage and threatened to kill her unless Gauche joined them. Despite his reservations, Gauche couldn't bear the thought of losing his sister and agreed to join the Marauders.

Sylvette tells Lag that she believes he can save Gauche from the darkness that has consumed him. She gives Lag a special pendant that she believes will help him find Gauche. Lag and Niche leave Sylvette's house and continue their journey with renewed determination.

As they travel through a series of underground caves, Lag and Niche encounter a group of Diglett-like creatures called the Maka. The Maka offer to lead them to the surface, but they must first complete a series of challenges to prove their worth. Lag and Niche successfully complete the challenges and the Maka keep their promise to lead them to the surface.

However, as they reach the surface, they are ambushed by a group of soldiers led by a woman named Sabrina Mary. Sabrina reveals that she is Aunt Sabrina's daughter and that she is also a Letter Bee. She tells Lag that he must give up his quest to find Gauche, as he has been branded a criminal and cannot be helped.

Lag refuses to give up and the two engage in a fierce battle. In the end, Lag emerges victorious and Sabrina is forced to retreat. Lag and Niche continue their journey, determined to find Gauche and bring him back home.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger as Lag and Niche finally reach the spot where Gauche is supposed to be. However, they discover that they are not alone and are confronted by a mysterious figure who claims to be Gauche. The figure reveals that he is actually Reverse, Gauche's alter ego, and prepares to attack Lag and Niche. The episode ends on a tense note, setting the stage for the dramatic finale.
