Ep 2. Smoke and Mirros

In Sin City Saints season 1 episode 2, titled "Smoke and Mirrors," the team's new owner Gavin (played by Malin Åkerman) gets into some trouble with the law. Meanwhile, Jake (played by Andrew Santino) tries to impress a woman by pretending to be a doctor, and Cutter (played by Keith Powers) deals with the aftermath of a wild party at his house.

The episode starts off with Gavin being arrested for smoking marijuana in public. She is taken to jail and when her bail is set at a high amount she has to call the one person that she doesn't want to and ask for their help. While she is in jail the basketball team discovers that she has been taken into custody and they start to question their new owner's judgement.

Meanwhile, Jake, the publicist for the Sin City Saints, meets a beautiful woman (played by Meredith Hagner) and lies to her about being a doctor to impress her. She invites him to a charity event and he starts to panic because he doesn't know anything about being a doctor. Determined to not let her know that he lied, Jake turns to the team's star player, Jake the Snake (played by Rick Fox), to help him pull off the deception.

Cutter, the team's rookie player, is dealing with the fallout from a party that he threw at his house. His house was turned upside down with a wild night of partying, and the next morning he finds that one of his teammates has stolen his prized jewel-encrusted necklace. He confronts the suspect and the two of them end up getting into a physical altercation.

Throughout the episode, the team is struggling to maintain their public image and their winning streak. The team's coach, Doc (played by Tom Arnold), is fighting to keep his job as he is under extreme pressure to win games. With Gavin's arrest and the team's off-court shenanigans, the Sin City Saints' public image is in need of a serious overhaul.

As the episode progresses, each character's storyline becomes more intertwined, with Gavin's legal trouble ultimately affecting the team's success on the court. In the end, the Sin City Saints must come together as a team to decide what their priorities truly are and how they can be successful both on and off the court.

"Smoke and Mirrors" is an exciting and humorous episode that showcases the hilarious hijinks of the Sin City Saints as well as the challenges they face as a team. The episode is full of twists and turns, with each character's storyline developing in surprising ways. Overall, the episode is a fun and entertaining watch that will leave viewers excited for the next episode in the season.
