Ep 18. Curry and a Vampire

In this episode of Rosario + Vampire Season 1, Moka and Tsukune are hanging out in the kitchen when Kurumu and Mizore suddenly burst in, demanding to know what delicious smell is coming from the pot on the stove. The aroma is revealed to be a curry that Tsukune is cooking and he is more than happy to share with his friends.

As they all sit down to enjoy the meal, a strange sound starts to fill the air. It turns out to be the sound of a bunch of vampires flying in the sky, and the gang all rushes outside to check it out. They soon find themselves staring up at a huge castle that has suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and they realize that the vampire lord, Gyokuro Shuzen, has finally arrived.

Gyokuro is the mother of Moka's inner personality, and she has come to take back her daughter and punish those who have been causing trouble for the Shuzen family. The gang is understandably scared by Gyokuro's arrival, and they try to hide from her, but they are eventually found and brought before her.

Gyokuro is particularly interested in Tsukune, and she invites him to come and live with her, offering to turn him into a vampire. Tsukune is obviously reluctant, but Gyokuro gives him some time to think about it and leaves him with a special ring that will allow her to track him down wherever he goes.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang is left wondering what to do next. They know that Gyokuro is dangerous and they don't want Tsukune to fall under her spell, but they also don't want to leave him alone in his time of need. They eventually come up with a plan to rescue Tsukune and defeat Gyokuro once and for all.

The gang sets off on their mission, but they quickly run into trouble when they get lost in the castle's maze-like corridors. They eventually make their way to Gyokuro's throne room, but they are immediately confronted by a group of powerful vampires who are determined to stop them.

The gang fights bravely, but they are no match for Gyokuro's minions. Just as things are looking bleak, Tsukune steps forward and reveals that he has no intention of becoming a vampire. He tells Gyokuro that he would rather stay with his friends and live as a human, no matter how difficult it may be.

Gyokuro is initially angry at Tsukune's defiance, but she is eventually moved by his sincerity and decides to let him go. She warns him, however, that she will always be watching him and that she will come looking for him if he ever tries to leave the protection of his friends.

The gang all leave the castle together, relieved that their mission was successful and that Tsukune is safe. They all sit down together to enjoy another bowl of curry and reflect on the events of the day. Although they know that Gyokuro will always be a threat, they also know that they are stronger together and that they will always be there to protect and support each other.

Overall, Curry and a Vampire is a fun and action-packed episode of Rosario + Vampire that showcases the strength and loyalty of the show's central gang. It introduces a powerful new villain in Gyokuro and sets up some interesting plot points for future episodes.
