Joan and her team of relic hunters travel to the United States in search of a legendary flag that flew in the Battle of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812, the same battle that inspired Francis Scott Key to write the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner". The flag was believed to have been lost for centuries until a wealthy collector claims to have found it. Joan is skeptical of the collector's claims and sets out to investigate if the flag is authentic.
Upon arriving in the United States, Joan and her team meet with the collector, who shows them the flag and explains how he acquired it. However, Joan notices several inconsistencies in his story and suspects that he may be hiding something. She and her team begin to investigate the flag's authenticity and follow a trail of clues that leads them to a secret society that has been searching for the flag for years.
As Joan and her team unravel the mystery behind the flag's disappearance, they discover that it holds more than just historical significance. The flag also has a powerful and dangerous secret that the collector and the secret society will do anything to keep hidden.
Along the way, Joan and her team face numerous obstacles, including a dangerous car chase, a fight with the secret society, and a high-stakes auction where the flag is up for sale. They must use all of their skills and expertise to outsmart their opponents and uncover the truth about the flag's history and significance.
As the episode comes to a close, Joan and her team ultimately succeed in their mission. They are able to recover the flag and reveal its true history to the world. The episode ends with Joan reflecting on the importance of preserving history and the sacrifices that were made to protect the flag and the values it represents.
