The second character is Rikako Oryo, a high school student who's been implicated in the murders. She's a brilliant artist who creates bizarre and disturbing sculptures, which she claims are a way of expressing the beauty of death.

As the investigation progresses, Akane and her team become increasingly desperate to find a breakthrough. However, they soon discover that the killer has a much more complex plan in mind. The cross-shaped symbol left at the crime scenes is actually a hidden message, a cipher that can only be deciphered by someone who knows its code. This means that the killer is not only incredibly intelligent but also has an accomplice who can understand their cryptic language.

The CID realizes that they need to act fast if they want to catch the killer before they strike again. This leads to an intense and suspenseful showdown at a dilapidated factory, where the true nature of the killer and their intentions are finally revealed. The episode's climax is a masterclass in tension, with plenty of twists and turns that keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.

Overall, "Devil's Crossroad" is an excellent episode of Psycho-Pass that showcases the series' strengths.
