Ep 14. A Stormy Summer Vacation, Part 2

After arriving at the Amagi Inn, the Investigation Team continues their summer vacation with relaxing plans in mind. However, the sudden appearance of a television broadcast reveals that another victim has been thrown into the Midnight Channel. The team watches in shock as the young idol, Rise Kujikawa, appears on screen. The pressure is now higher than ever as the team realizes that they must rescue Rise before it's too late.

As they head into the TV World, they are greeted with a new setting that resembles a steamy hot springs resort. However, they quickly come to realize that the inner workings of the castle are filled with dangerous shadows that they must defeat in order to move forward. The team struggles to come to terms with the reality of their situation, but Yosuke, the jester-like hero, starts to lighten the mood with his comical antics.

As they make their way through the castle, the team is confronted with a chilling discovery. They come across a room with televisions playing footage of Rise's life and the harsh criticisms she's received as an idol. The team watches with sadness as she's bullied and ridiculed by others, leading them to realize that perhaps her entry into the Midnight Channel wasn't just a coincidence.

Meanwhile, Rise lies trapped in the castle, fearing for her life. She becomes desperate as she feels her energy drain away with each passing moment. In her weakened state, she turns to the only thing that has ever made her feel safe - her alter-ego, the bizarre pop star, "Risette". As Risette, she sings and dances to her heart's content, finding comfort in the loud cheers of her virtual audience.

The Investigation Team is horrified to discover the twisted manifestation of Rise's psyche in the form of a monstrous shadow. The team battles the shadow in one of their toughest fights yet. With the help of their Personas, they're eventually able to defeat the shadow and rescue Rise.

As Rise awakes and thanks the team for their bravery, the team is reminded of the harsh reality of the Midnight Channel. They can no longer afford to be complacent or underestimate their enemies. With the arrival of another mysterious character, the group must now focus on finding a way to end the curse once and for all.

As the episode ends, the team is left to ponder the significance of their encounter with Rise and the Midnight Channel, knowing that more dangers await them in the coming days.
