Ep 9. TV or Not TV

My Mother the Car season 1 episode 9, titled "TV or Not TV", follows the misadventures of Dave and his talking mother car. This week, Dave's girlfriend, Barbara, is eager to watch the finale of her favorite television show, "Boys Will Be Boys". However, at the bar, the TV isn't working, and the angry patrons lash out at Dave and Barbara. As they leave the bar, they notice that a local park has a big screen set up for an event. Dave and Barbara excitedly head to the park, but when they arrive, they realize it's a screening of a documentary about snails.

Disappointed and tired, Dave and Barbara return home, but in a stroke of luck, they discover that they can receive the broadcast signal through their car radio. They sit in the car and listen to the entire episode of "Boys Will Be Boys". However, just as the show is about to end, their car goes dead, and they are unable to hear the final moments.

This episode explores the importance of television in our lives and the lengths people will go to watch their favorite shows. It also highlights the frustration that comes with technology when it fails to work properly. The episode is full of humorous moments and some tense situations, but eventually, Dave and Barbara are able to hear the conclusion of "Boys Will Be Boys".
