A mummified body is found in an empty house. It is identified as Karen Diskin, who was missing presumed murdered two years ago. Thorne was the investigating officer at the time and arrested Karen's husband, Daniel, for the murder. Thome assigns Tessa and Steve to tie up the loose ends.
