In "I.R. Gentleman," the third episode of season 1 of I Am Weasel, we follow I.R. Baboon as he tries to improve his manners to impress a date. The episode starts with Baboon receiving a letter from his crush, a lady baboon named Margaux. Excited at the prospect of love, Baboon immediately sets off to improve his manners with the help of his trusty friend, I Am Weasel.

First, I.R. Baboon attempts to improve his posture and walking style by mimicking Weasel's elegant movements. However, Baboon's efforts prove to be unsuccessful as he ends up breaking everything in his path rather than gracefully moving through the world. I.R. Baboon then aims to improve his vocabulary and communication skills by picking up old-style English from a dictionary. Once again, his attempts fail as his newfound language skills only lead to confusion and misunderstandings.

Determined to help his friend, I Am Weasel decides to take Baboon on a shopping trip, to show Baboon what it really means to be a gentleman. Weasel teaches Baboon how to dress appropriately and choose the right behavior at social occasions, such as how to open doors and when to take off a hat. I.R. Baboon ultimately takes Weasel's advice and buys himself a new suit, top hat, and a walking cane, feeling much better about himself and ready for his date with Margaux.

On the date, Baboon thinks that everything is going smoothly, until he accidentally spills soup on Margaux's dress. Feeling embarrassed and ashamed, I.R. Baboon immediately tries to make amends with Margaux. However, Margaux has a surprise for Baboon, revealing that her love for him is not based on his manners or appearance. Baboon's heart is warmed by Margaux's sincere affection, and he realizes that the most important thing is to be true to himself.

"I.R. Gentleman" is a hilarious episode that shows the lengths to which I.R. Baboon will go to win the love of his crush. The episode's humor is primarily derived from Baboon's disastrous attempts at being a gentleman, as well as his naivety and gullibility. However, the episode also features a heartwarming message about true love and the importance of authenticity. Overall, "I.R. Gentleman" is a fun and entertaining watch for both kids and adults.
