Ep 14. Fame is a Magnet

In the fourteenth episode of the first season of Hustle, titled Fame is a Magnet, the team finds themselves taking on a daring con involving a well-known and very egocentric actor. The con is set in motion with the help of a young actress who has been ostracized by the actor's clique and is now out to seek revenge. She seeks the assistance of the team to teach a lesson to the arrogant actor who has been using his fame and influence to get away with his actions.

The gang starts by playing a prologue to the con, with Danny playing the role of an agent looking to cast fresh talent and recruits the young actress for a new role in a big-budget movie. The actress, Kelly, is hesitant at first, but Danny is quick to play on her insecurities and convince her to take up the part. The plan is to use her as a gateway to access the actor's inner circle and catch him off guard with the con.

The team quickly gets to work, with Mickey posing as a wealthy investor looking to invest in a new film project. The actor, Eddie, is initially smitten by the attention he's getting from Mickey and happily agrees to collaborate with him. However, things take a turn when Mickey becomes increasingly difficult about the terms of the agreement, leading Eddie to suspect that something is amiss.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team is working their way through Eddie's inner circle. Ash poses as a bodyguard and gains the trust of Eddie's girlfriend, while Albert and Stacie work their charms with Eddie's manager and assistant. As they gather more information about Eddie's shady dealings, they begin to piece together a plan to expose him.

However, things take an unexpected turn when Kelly begins to get too close to Eddie and starts to overlook the fact that he's a dangerous person. She soon becomes enraptured by his fame and wealth, leading to a conflict of interests with the team.

As the gang works to bring Eddie down, they realize that Kelly has become the ultimate wildcard in their plan. Will they be able to convince her to stay on their side, or will her newfound love for fame lead to their downfall?
