When it comes to impressing someone, money talks. And in "If I Were a Rich Man," the sixth episode of the first season of Ground Floor, Brody (played by Skylar Astin) tries to do just that in an attempt to win over Jenny (played by Briga Heelan).

Despite being warned by his colleagues that Jenny is a bit of a gold digger, Brody decides to go all out and splurge on an expensive dinner date with her. But as the night goes on, Brody begins to fear that Jenny's materialistic desires might be turning her off of him. Will Brody's grand gestures win Jenny's heart, or will they leave him broke and alone?

Meanwhile, Harvard (played by Rory Scovel) finds himself in a sticky situation when his old crush from college, Heather (played by Anna Camp), comes to visit. Harvard had always had a crush on Heather, but never had the courage to tell her. With Heather now engaged, Harvard must navigate his feelings for her while also trying to keep his cool around her fiancé.

As if that wasn't enough drama, Mansfield (played by John C. McGinley) is dealing with some financial troubles of his own. With his company in danger of going bankrupt, Mansfield enlists the help of Derrick (played by James Earl), Threepeat (played by Rene Gube), and Tori (played by Alexis Knapp) to come up with a solution to save the company.

Filled with humor, heart, and a healthy dose of corporate intrigue, "If I Were a Rich Man" is a standout episode of Ground Floor's first season. With its relatable themes of love, money, and friendship, this episode is sure to keep viewers engaged from start to finish.
