Ep 49. Wedding Celebration

As the wedding ceremony begins, the tension reaches a fever pitch. The Suzaku warriors confront Nakago, but he is unperturbed and even manages to wound Chichiri. Just as all hope seems lost, Tasuki and Tamahome burst into the room, revealing their discoveries about Nakago's true intentions. With this information, Miaka is able to summon Suzaku and uses his power to defeat Nakago and save the day.

The episode ends with Yui, finally coming to her senses, returning to Miaka's side. The group is reunited and at peace, but they know that they must continue fighting for their cause in order to protect the world from those who would abuse its power.
