Ep 2. Priestess of Suzuku

As the second episode of Fushigi Yugi (English Dubbed) begins, we see that Miaka has been transported back to ancient China once more. She is reunited with Tamahome, and the two are captured by a group of bandits.

However, she has been having trouble finding them, as she has been unable to locate the emperor of the land, who is the Suzaku Warrior responsible for guiding the others.

Miaka and Tamahome agree to help Yui find the emperor, and the three set off on their journey together. Along the way, they encounter a young boy named Chichiri, who possesses some mysterious powers. Chichiri is also searching for the Suzaku Warriors, and he agrees to join the group as they continue on their journey.

As they travel, Yui begins to act strangely; she becomes more and more obsessed with finding the Celestial Warriors, and seems to be losing her grip on reality. Miaka becomes worried about her friend, and wonders if something sinister is at work.

Their journey takes them to an ancient temple, where they encounter a monk named Chiriko. Chiriko is a genius, and has been searching for the Celestial Warriors himself. He gives them some valuable information about the emperor, and tells them where they might be able to find him.

In the end, the group is successful in their search for the emperor, and they are able to enlist his help in searching for the rest of the Celestial Warriors. However, Yui's condition continues to worsen, and her obsession with finding the Warriors has become something more sinister. Miaka and her companions know that they must act quickly to save their friend from whatever is possessing her.
