The episode begins at a classic diner in Denver, Colorado called Sam's No. 3. Here, Fieri tries the diner's famous corned beef hash and eggs, which is made from scratch and cooked to perfection. He also samples the green chili, a regional specialty that is a must-try for anyone visiting Denver.
Next, Fieri heads to Columbus, Ohio to check out a family-owned restaurant called Schmidt's Sausage Haus und Restaurant. This German-influenced eatery has been serving up traditional sausages, pretzels, and other dishes for over 130 years. Fieri tries the famous Bahama Mama sausage, which is made with beef, pork, and spices, and served with sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard. He also tries the restaurant's giant cream puffs, which are a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
From Ohio, Fieri travels to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to visit Phillips Avenue Diner. This retro-style diner serves up classic dishes with a modern twist, and Fieri can't resist trying the restaurant's legendary mac and cheeseburger. This bold creation includes a hefty beef patty, crispy bacon, and a generous serving of creamy mac and cheese sandwiched between two buns.
Back on the road, Fieri makes his way to LaPorte, Indiana to check out Paxton's Corner Coop. This no-frills restaurant impresses Fieri with its fried chicken, which is made from scratch and cooked to crispy perfection. He also samples the restaurant's homemade meatloaf, which is a classic comfort food dish that is guaranteed to please.
Finally, Fieri heads to Seattle, Washington to visit a beloved institution called Paseo Caribbean Food. This tiny restaurant is known for its inspired Caribbean flavors, and Fieri can't get enough of the signature roasted pork sandwich. Made with marinated pork, caramelized onions, and a special garlic sauce, this sandwich has won over countless fans and even earned national acclaim.
From coast to coast, Fieri has discovered some of the most delicious and iconic dishes that America has to offer. Each stop on his journey proves that classic cuisine is still as beloved as ever, and that there are always new variations and twists to put on these beloved dishes.
