In the heart of Chicago, Guy visits Carnitas Uruapan, a Mexican restaurant that specializes in carnitas, a traditional Mexican dish of slow-cooked, seasoned pork. Here, Guy tries their famous stacked Pork Tacos, which feature layers of juicy pork, crispy pork skin, onions, and cilantro, all piled high on a soft corn tortilla. He also samples their classic Carnitas Platter, which comes with tender chunks of pork, crispy pork skin, and all the fixings.
For the final stop on his culinary adventure, Guy heads to Brooklyn, New York to visit L&B Spumoni Gardens, a famous Italian-American restaurant known for their Sicilian-style pizza. Guy tries their iconic Spumoni, which features layers of pistachio, cherry, and chocolate ice cream, all topped with whipped cream and a cherry. He also samples their signature square pizza, which is made with fresh mozzarella cheese, robust tomato sauce, and a thick, crispy crust.
