In this episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," host Guy Fieri welcomes some of his all-star guests to showcase their favorite dishes and share their cooking insights. Guy is joined by Alex Guarnaschelli, Rocco DiSpirito, Carl Ruiz, and Justin Warner as they travel to various diners, drive-ins and dives across America.
The first stop on their journey is a classic New Orleans-style restaurant in Las Vegas. Alex introduces Guy and the viewers to her favorite dish, a sandwich made with slow-cooked beef and a delicious remoulade sauce. Next, they head to a restaurant in Brooklyn where Carl shows them how to make a deliciously crispy fried chicken sandwich.
The next stop is a diner in Cleveland that serves up a variety of unique burgers. Rocco demonstrates how to make a burger with a triple beef patty, bacon, and mac and cheese, while Justin opts for a more adventurous option with a lamb and chorizo burger topped with an egg.
Later in the episode, the group travels to a Nashville dive bar for some authentic southern-style BBQ. They taste some of the best ribs, pulled pork, and brisket they've ever had and learn about the art of smoking meat from the pitmaster himself.
The final stop on their journey takes them to a family-owned Italian restaurant in Cleveland. Guy, Alex, Rocco, Carl, and Justin all pitch in to help cook a variety of dishes, including homemade pastas, meatballs, and garlic bread. The heartwarming atmosphere of the restaurant and the family's passion for cooking leave a lasting impression on the group.
