In the season 3 premiere of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," host Guy Fieri sets out on a mission to find the biggest and best breakfasts around. First up is a diner in Austin, Texas where the portions are as big as the state itself. Guy tries their famous "Don Juan" breakfast sandwich, a colossal creation with eggs, bacon, avocado, cheese, and more packed into a giant homemade biscuit. But the real star of the show is their "Cinnamon Roll Pancake," a towering stack of fluffy cakes layered with sticky-sweet cinnamon swirls and topped with cream cheese frosting.

The next stop on Guy's breakfast tour takes him to Boulder, Colorado where a modern-day diner is giving traditional breakfast dishes a gourmet twist. Their "Breakfast Panini" is a hearty sandwich filled with scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, and cheddar cheese, and served with a side of chunky red pepper jam. But the real showstopper is their "Fruit-Stuffed French Toast," two slices of thick brioche bread stuffed with vanilla cream cheese and piled high with fresh berries and whipped cream.

Finally, Guy travels to a small town in Oregon where a breakfast and lunch joint is serving up homemade pies and other comfort foods. Here, Guy tries their "Biscuits and Gravy" made with scratch-made biscuits and rich, peppery sausage gravy. But the pièce de résistance is their "Huckleberry Stuffed French Toast," two slices of thick bread filled with sweet cream cheese and tart huckleberries, and topped with a gooey berry compote and whipped cream.

Throughout the episode, Guy meets with the owners and chefs behind each restaurant to learn their secrets for creating such delicious breakfast dishes. He also gets a glimpse into the local food scene in each city and highlights the unique flavors and ingredients that make each dish special.
