Ep 4. Big Burgers to Little Italy

Host Guy Fieri is back on the road again for another delicious adventure in the latest episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. This time, Guy is on a mission to find the biggest and baddest burgers across the country.
In the first part of the episode, Guy heads to Oklahoma City to check out a local favorite, The Drum Room. This classic diner has been serving up delicious burgers for over 60 years, and they’ve perfected the art of the burger. Guy tries their signature “Drum Burger,” which is piled high with bacon, cheese, and chili. He also samples their “Roadrunner Burger,” which features pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and spicy mayonnaise.
Next, Guy heads south to New Orleans to try the burgers at Cowbell. This trendy spot is known for their locally sourced ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Guy tries the “Belly Burger,” which is made with a juicy beef patty, crispy pork belly, and smoked gouda cheese. He also samples the “Thai Burger,” which is topped with pickled vegetables and a spicy peanut sauce.
Moving on to the next stop in his burger journey, Guy heads to Chicago to visit The Bad Apple. This hipster gastropub is famous for their creative burgers and extensive beer selection. Guy tries their “Bad Apple Burger,” which is made with ground chuck, short rib, and smoked bacon. He also checks out their “Roasted Garlic Burger,” which is topped with homemade garlic aioli.
Finally, Guy heads to Las Vegas to visit Naked City Pizza Shop, where they’ve taken their pizza-making expertise and applied it to burgers. Guy tries their “Philly Burger,” which features a beef patty topped with shaved rib-eye steak and provolone cheese. He also samples their “Green Chile Burger,” which is made with a fresh roasted green chile salsa and crispy onions.
But that’s not all that Guy has in store for this episode. In the second half of the show, Guy switches gears and heads to the East Coast to explore the delicious flavors of Little Italy.
First up, Guy visits Patsy’s Italian Restaurant in New York City. This family-owned spot has been serving up classic Italian dishes for over 75 years. Guy tries their famous spaghetti and meatballs, as well as their chicken parmesan. He also gets a lesson in making fresh mozzarella from the owner, Sal Scognamillo.
Next, Guy heads to New Haven, Connecticut to visit Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. This legendary pizzeria has been serving up their famous thin-crust pizza since 1925. Guy tries their “White Clam Pizza,” which is made with fresh clams, garlic, and oregano. He also checks out their “Original Tomato Pie,” which is a classic Neapolitan-style pizza with a simple sauce made from crushed tomatoes and garlic.
Finally, Guy heads to Boston to visit Regina Pizzeria. This iconic pizzeria has been serving up their famous brick oven pizza since 1926. Guy tries their classic “Margherita Pizza,” which is made with fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, and basil. He also checks out their “Pollo Di Casa Pizza,” which is topped with grilled chicken, mushrooms, and caramelized onions.
Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Season 29 Episode 4 is a delicious adventure from start to finish, featuring some of the biggest and best burgers in the country, as well as some classic Italian dishes and legendary pizzas.
