In this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri travels from the East Coast to the West Coast in search of delicious and unique eats. He begins in Boston at a restaurant called The Friendly Toast, where he tries their famous breakfast burrito and a bacon-infused Bloody Mary. Next, he heads to Portland, Oregon to visit a food truck called Matt's BBQ, where he samples their mouth-watering brisket and ribs.
Moving westward, Guy stops in San Francisco to visit a restaurant called Sabores del Sur, which specializes in Argentinian cuisine. He tries their empanadas, skirt steak, and chimichurri sauce, and is blown away by the flavors. From there, he heads to Portland, Maine to visit a place called The Honey Paw, which serves up a unique blend of Asian and New England flavors. Guy tries their pork buns, seafood chowder, and a spicy shellfish noodle dish.
In Los Angeles, Guy visits a restaurant called The Morrison, where he dives into their beer-battered fish and chips, made with fresh cod. He also samples their mac and cheese balls, which are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Finally, Guy heads to Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood to visit The 9lb Hammer, a rock and roll dive bar that serves up amazing burgers. He tries their signature Big Hammer Burger, which is piled high with bacon, cheese, and a fried egg.
