Summer School: Chapter Eight is the eighth episode of season two of DC's Stargirl. Cindy Burman, aka Shiv, is now the leader of the ISA and is determined to get her revenge on Stargirl and her team.
Meanwhile, the students of Blue Valley High are still adjusting to the new normal, with classes resuming after the summer break. Courtney Whitmore, the leader of the new Justice Society of America, is struggling to balance her superhero duties with her schoolwork and her personal life. Her stepbrother Mike is dealing with his own struggles as he tries to fit in at school and find his place in the world.
As tensions rise between the ISA and the JSA, a new threat emerges in the form of Eclipso. The dark and powerful entity has been unleashed and is wreaking havoc on Blue Valley, driving people to madness and despair. The JSA must find a way to stop him before it's too late, but Eclipso is unlike anything they've ever faced before.
Meanwhile, Pat Dugan, also known as S.T.R.I.P.E., is dealing with his own issues. His estranged wife, Barbara, has returned to town and he's struggling to reconnect with her after years apart. The two must navigate their complicated history while also working together to protect their family and their town from the dangerous forces at play.
As the JSA and the ISA collide in an epic showdown, the fate of Blue Valley hangs in the balance. Will the heroes be able to overcome their differences and work together to defeat their common enemy, or will Eclipso succeed in destroying everything they hold dear?
