After a string of events leading up to the disappearance of the Justice Society of America, teenager Courtney Whitmore has taken on the mantle of Stargirl to continue their legacy. In part one of the two-part series finale, "Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Part One," Courtney and her team must face their toughest challenge yet as the evil Injustice Society unveils their latest plan to take over Blue Valley.

With Brainwave gone and Project New America foiled, it seems like things might finally calm down in Blue Valley. But the Injustice Society has other plans. Cindy Burman, aka Shiv, manages to infiltrate the team and steal key information about the ISA's next move. Now Stargirl, S.T.R.I.P.E., Wildcat, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Hourman must use all their abilities and resources to stop the ISA's latest plan from succeeding.

Complicating matters is the fact that some team members are at odds with each other. Pat Dugan, who works behind the scenes as S.T.R.I.P.E., is hesitant about involving Courtney's step-father, the reformed villain known as the Dragon King. Meanwhile, Courtney and her friends struggle to balance high school life with their superhero duties.

To make matters even more complex, Stargirl's former arch-nemesis, the cosmic superhero Starman, makes a shocking return. Though Courtney is overjoyed to see him again, it quickly becomes clear that he is harboring secrets and not everything is as it seems.

As tensions rise and the ISA's plan draws closer to fruition, Stargirl and her team must confront their past traumas and differences in order to come together and save Blue Valley from the villainous group's final push for power. Will they be able to succeed against all odds?

"Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Part One" sets the stage for an explosive and heart-wrenching finale to the season, with unexpected twists and turns that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. The episode also delves deeper into the emotional journeys of each character, offering a poignant exploration of what it means to be a hero in the face of adversity.
