In Classroom of the Elite season 1 episode 7, the students of Class D continue to strive towards gaining points for their class in order to avoid the expulsion from the prestigious school, while also competing against the other classes to maintain their rank. This episode begins with a new challenge presented to Class D that involves a group project, where they are paired up with students from Class A, who are considered the elite of the school.
The students are instructed to come up with a plan to create a successful advertising campaign for a new product, but there's a catch – the product is completely useless and the outcome of the project is based solely on how well the teams can sell the product to the judges. The students must work together to come up with a convincing pitch that will persuade the judges to award them points.
The episode focuses primarily on the perspective of Ayanokoji, the main protagonist of the series. Ayanokoji is paired up with Karuizawa, a popular girl from Class D, who has a reputation for being selfish and not contributing to any team projects in the past. Ayanokoji sees this as an opportunity to challenge himself and to test his ability to work with someone he doesn't particularly like. Throughout the episode, we see a different side of Ayanokoji as he acts more openly and takes the initiative in leading the team, while Karuizawa becomes more aware of her shortcomings and tries to change her ways.
While the students are preparing for the project, they come across a suspicious incident that involves Class B. The incident raises questions about the true nature of the competition and if there is a scheme in place to further push Class D towards the brink of expulsion. Ayanokoji, being the curious character he is, decides to investigate the incident, which leads to some unexpected revelations.
As the project presentation day arrives, the students are filled with nervousness and excitement. Class D and Class A are the final teams to present their campaigns, and the pressure is high. The presentation is an intense and captivating scene, as we see the students use a variety of tactics to try and sway the judges.
The episode ends with the results of the project being revealed, and Class D gets a much-needed boost in points. However, the victory is short-lived, as the suspicious incident from earlier in the episode comes back to haunt them. Ayanokoji finds himself in a compromising situation, leading to a shocking cliffhanger that leaves us on the edge of our seats, eager to see what happens next.
Overall, Classroom of the Elite season 1 episode 7 is another strong installment in the series that continues to delve deeper into the intricate and manipulative world of the school. It is a well-written and expertly directed episode that is full of tension and intrigue, with some surprising character development that adds more depth to the story. Fans of the series will not be disappointed with this episode, and newcomers will find it a solid introduction to the show's themes and characters.
