Only in America can you call a woman's mother a whore, and possibly end up getting paid for it. The Los Angeles man that confronted Bristol Palin in a barroom without provocation is now suing Palin and Lifetime Network over taping the incident. He's also claiming Palin damaged his character by claiming that the September 2011 incident motivated her moving away from Los Angeles.

Just avoid driving all together, Miss Lohan. No good ever, EVER comes of you getting behind the wheel. In fact, it's a scary proposition for the people around you when you just need to go around the corner for more smokes. A 2010 accident is coming back to bite her, as a paparazzo she allegedly side-swiped is seeking at $16,000 from the actress to cover his medical bills.

With "Pretty Little Liars" a bona fide ABC Family hit, Lucy Hale's career is coming full-circle. Nine years ago, she was a contestant on the brief "American Idol" spin-off "American Juniors." Today, she's announced that the "American Idol"-affiliated record label has signed her to a contract, with her debut album coming in 2013.

"American Psycho" author Bret Easton Ellis and producer Braxton Pope claim Lindsay Lohan has truly under-estimated talent. We'll soon see. The author proudly tweeted an announcement today that Lohan has been cast in his penned film "The Canyons," to be directed by Paul Schrader.

Here's a nomination for Jerks of the Week: a group of burglars broke into the pawn shop that belongs to "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips' family. I know what you're thinking: "he just won 'American Idol,' he's fine." That may be true, but what makes the burglars especially despicable is when they chose to break into the place.
Phillips is currently in California recovering from his kidney surgery that he was putting off so that he could finish the "Idol" competition without interruption.
