Here's a nomination for Jerks of the Week: a group of burglars broke into the pawn shop that belongs to "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips' family. I know what you're thinking: "he just won 'American Idol,' he's fine." That may be true, but what makes the burglars especially despicable is when they chose to break into the place.
Phillips is currently in California recovering from his kidney surgery that he was putting off so that he could finish the "Idol" competition without interruption.

They're hoping their campaign can be the latest to demonstrate the power of Kickstarter to make art supported by the patrons who want it.

CBS now claims that if ABC suffers a loss over promoting the copycat, that's not their problem.

Because foremost in any penal system's collective consciousness is that its patrons stay in shape: Floyd Mayweather wants an early release from his Clark County Detention Center sentence for misdemeanor domestic abuse (as opposed to the felony charge he bargained to avoid.) The reason: jail is hurting his boxing career. Wah.
