Interested in taking a ride on a rollercoaster of emotion today? Good. There's a new extended trailer for "The Fault in Our Stars" out.
The trailer reveals some new footage not seen in previous ones, focusing mostly on the uplifting parts of John Green's bestselling story. The new trailer starts similarly to the first one, setting up the story of Hazel (Shailene Woodley), a terminally ill teenager and her relationship with Augustus (Ansel Elgort), another teen in remission from cancer.

Is the Xbox One about to be the new Netflix?
Earlier today, Microsoft unveiled new details about its NewFronts project, which aims to bring brand new, original content to users of their Xbox One console and Xbox Live subscription service. It's a big leap for the software and hardware company to start producing films, but in a world where Netflix has two of the most talked-about dramas currently on air, it's anyone's game.

Looks like John Oliver owes the Lannisters a debt of his own.
"Last Week Tonight," HBO's newest offering, pulled in strong ratings in its 11pm time slot following "Game of Thrones," "Silicon Valley" and "Veep" with one million viewers, actually improving on its lead-in. "Game of Thrones" likely contributed to both shows with a very strong 6.

Most people who didn't like the "How I Met Your Mother" finale wanted it to be less sad. But star Alyson Hannigan wanted just the opposite!
In a recent interview, Hannigan (who plays Lily on the show) revealed that there was one key shot missing from the "HIMYM" series finale: The Mother's funeral. Apparently there was originally a scene of only just a second or two during Ted's speech that showed him mourning over Tracy's death at her funeral, but the scene was deleted from the final product since it was "just too gut-wrenching.

Political ties between America and China can be tense, but we never suspected Sheldon Cooper to be the cause.
The Chinese government announced this week that they would be adding four new American shows to the list of banned shows in the country: "The Big Bang Theory," "NCIS," "The Good Wife" and "The Practice."
In particular, the ban is reaching out to streaming sites like Youku and Tencent (think YouTube but with more TV shows and other copyrighted content) in an effort to prevent them from hosting the shows on their sites.

Anybody seen any flying pigs lately?
One of Hollywood's most puzzlingly single leading men, George Clooney, is now engaged, according to People. The magazine is claiming confirmation of the engagement from sources close to the couple, who say that it happened "not long ago."
The lucky lady is Amal Alamuddin, a British attorney who focuses on international law and human rights.
