So, maybe Don Draper doesn't always get the ladies... In anticipation of the premiere of the final season of "Mad Men," this little gem surfaced on YouTube today. It's a video of Jon Hamm on the dating show "The Big Date," which aired back in the 90's, when Hamm was just 25 years old. And it is fantastic. Hamm, in his full 90's floppy-haired glory, vies for the affection of a girl with a self-professed foot fetish.

April 04, 2014 @ 10:43 am PST    Late Show with David Letterman, How I Met Your Mother     EG
Musical chairs among the hosts of late-night talk shows is nothing new. Seems like barely a week goes by when a host is not leaving his or her show, starting a new show, or moving to take over someone else's old show. But when David Letterman announced this week that he'd be retiring next year, he touched off speculation about a potential late-night shuffle the likes of which we haven't seen in decades.

This week, "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" tried to solve the problem by cozying up to the soon-to-be hit movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." Did it work?

It looks like that will be good enough for most ticket buyers, and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is set for a massively successful opening weekend.

'True Blood' Season 7 Teaser Trailer Reminds Us of a Very Morbid Fact
April 03, 2014 @ 9:19 pm PST    True Blood     Andy Neuenschwander
Get ready to say goodbye to Bon Temps. The season seven teaser trailer for "True Blood" is out today, and it isn't all that uplifting...in fact, it's downright morbid. The teaser takes us through a graveyard, showing us gravestones for many of the Bon Temps residents that we've lost over the years. That includes, of course, the recent death of Terry Bellefleur, who is the second-to-last grave we see.

'How I Met Your Mother' Fan 'Fixes' Ending: Watch the Video!
April 02, 2014 @ 12:27 pm PST    How I Met Your Mother     Andy Neuenschwander
What a difference an edit makes! After the finale episode of "How I Met Your Mother" ended, Facebook and Twitter—nay, the whole Internet—was mad about it. And so were we. Rightfully so, too: Not only was the episode unnecessarily sad, it also seemed to argue semantics to deliver an ending that fans were told repeatedly over the past nine seasons they wouldn't be getting.
