The former "Hannah Montana" star announced today via her PR outlet of choice, Instagram, that she has a new addition to the family: A dog named Emu.
"I welcomed Emu Coyne Cyrus into the family a couple days ago," Cyrus wrote.

Just when you think, "Hey, Shia LaBeouf hasn't done anything weird in a while," this happens.
The "Transformers" actor was pulled out of a Broadway theater in handcuffs by police, according to reports materializing through social media. LaBeouf was attending a performance of "Cabaret" in New York City, and was reportedly being so disruptive that he was escorted out after the first act.

Anderson Cooper is the first to admit that he's "certainly no expert on the topic of vaginas."
But that didn't stop him from giggling his way through a story about a really big vagina.
A news story about an American student staying in Germany who got stuck in a large stone statue of a vagina went viral this week, as the Internet collectively pointed and laughed at photos of emergency workers attempting to extract the student from his captor.

"The Biggest Loser" is about to shed another 120 or so pounds...and they all belong to Jillian Michaels.
The weight loss competition show's most famous trainer will not be back for the upcoming season. According to a statement from NBC: "After helping hundreds of contestants transform their lives and inspiring millions of viewers at home, 'The Biggest Loser' and Jillian Michaels have decided to part ways and she will not be returning for season 16 when it airs in the fall.

The "Pitch Perfect" sequel will obviously be needing more acapella talent to face off against the Barden Bellas, and it definitely has it now. Pentatonix has officially shot a scene for the movie, spending a 12-hour day on set performing a yet-to-be-revealed song that they arranged themselves.

It's official: The Supreme Court of the United States says you can't DVR broadcast TV.
At least, you can't do it through Aereo, the cloud-based DVR service that has been the center of a major legal battle against broadcasters. That legal battle all but ended today after the Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling in favor of broadcasters, saying that Aereo violates copyright agreements in its current form.
