If you think it sucks to be a show like Fox's "Lone Star," which was canceled after just a couple of episodes, just remember this: At least it wasn't canceled before it started.
That's exactly what just happened to Fox's new show "Hieroglyph," which the network has officially dropped from its schedule and halted production on before it even had a chance to air.

Congratulations to Janelle Evans, we guess.
The "Teen Mom 2" star has given birth to her second child, the first with her current boyfriend Nathan Griffith. The couple had already chosen a name for the baby, and have decided to go with it: He'll be named Kaiser.
Kaiser joins a growing family, as the couple takes care of Jenelle's other son, Jace, who was born to Jenelle and her ex-husband Courtland Rogers.

Amanda Bynes is a free woman!
The charges against the "Easy A" actress were officially dropped following a rehabilitation program order by a judge after an incident back in May 2013. In that incident, Bynes was charged with criminal marijuana possession and tampering with evidence when she allegedly threw a bong out of the window of her high-rise NYC apartment.
Bynes had maintained at the time that the item was in fact a vase and not a bong, and that it had simply been knocked out of the window by accident.

I'm hooked on a feeling, and I think that feeling is the force?
When the original "Star Wars" trilogy came out in the late 1970's and early 80's, movie trailers had a very particular style. Even in the years since the prequel trilogy was released, movie trailers have adopted a whole new approach to drawing in viewers.
Take, for example, the much-buzzed-about "Guardians of the Galaxy" trailer from Marvel.

Just in case the fact that "The Lion King" came out 20 years ago isn't enough, here's another fact to make you feel old.
Eminem's daughter, Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, has graduated high school. Yes, the little girl who we often think of as the girl Eminem sings about in "Hailie's Song" and "Mockingbird" is now 18 years old and has graduated Summa Cum Laude, no less!

In advertising, they say that sex sells. You know what doesn't sell? Worms crawling out of eyeballs.
The new FX show "The Strain" learned this the hard way after billboards advertising the show caused a stir among some Los Angeles residents.
The billboards feature a close-up of a human eye being held open by a hand in a blue surgical glove. That would be startling enough to see on a huge billboard, but the real kicker here is that the eyeball has a worm crawling out of a bloodshot hole in it.
