Mark Burnett and NBC Teaming Up For American Idol Competitor 'The Voice of America'

Mark Burnett, the reality show genius behind Survivor and The Apprentice is set to launch another show in the future. The Voice of America, he hopes, will compete and beat American Idol in the future. He is hoping to capitalize on Idol’s falling viewership numbers and major shakeup at the judges table. He is banking on the fact that the judges won’t be as well liked as past ones and viewers will be looking for something hotter and newer to watch.

The episode 'Dead From The Waist Down' begins with Chelsea walking into the living room dressed in a sexy gown, all dolled up an evening out. Charlie then gives her some expensive jewelry to wear and says they have a limo waiting outside. As Alan and his girlfriend watch the parade of fanciness walk by she of course becomes a little jealous. And how could you not? I mean, first of all Chelsea is hot! Second, she gets spoiled like a princess while they spend yet another evening sitting around her boyfriend's brother's house watching television.

The “Kate Plus 8” host Kate Gosselin showed her true character to TLC viewers in Sarah Palin’s Alaska as a complaining and whining mom during their camping adventure in Alaska with the Palins.

During the camping trip Gosselin was the only one who didn’t enjoy camping and admitted being miserable. The mother of eight complained with a pout, "The kids are having fun, so I'm tolerating it, but this is my new home.

The problem is that job is currently held by her friend and former lover, Chief Will Pope.

The much anticipated Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides trailer has finally been released. The trailer shows tropical locations, a hot Johnny Depp and a lovely looking Penelope Cruz. But will the movie pack the punch it had for the last three movies, minus Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley?

I think it will. It has been two years since the last pirates flick was out and people stood in line for hours to get tickets for that movie.

The high school sweethearts of High School Musical are no longer. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens started dating while they filmed the first High School Musical back in 2008. They filmed two more movies together and managed to stay together through all of that hoopla and the paparazzi invading their personal space. They've been together almost three years - a record by some Hollywood standards! So why split now?

Most men can hardly deal with one wife. But then there's Kody Brown of Sister Wives, the TLC reality show that follows a polygamist family. He just took on his fourth wife - during the show, of course - and seems to want another one. This is supposedly what went down.

Kody was meeting with producers of the show and executives for TLC. They were brainstorming some ideas for the show's directions and Kody came up with a brilliant one.

Katie Holmes and Anne Hathaway are two of young Hollywood's brightest stars. So, imagine how awkward it might be for one of them to have to impersonate the other on a Saturday Night Live skit. Or, maybe it wasn't awkward for Anne to perform the impersonation, but was definitely awkward to watch it.

Katie appears miffed that Anne made fun of her on late night TV. Anne pulled out her best lip curl and soft spoken words and said she was channeling her best Joey Potter.

Gwyneth Paltrow Will Sub Again in Second Glee Episode

Gwyneth Paltrow is proving she can sing and act on a wider range than we thought possible. Gwyneth released the news that she will appear on a second episode of Fox's hit show, Glee. The show's release date has not been set, but it will be after the new year. She will once again play the holiday named, Holly Holliday, who is a subsitute teacher.

Gwyneth hopes the whole ordeal will be a bit easier this time.

'Country Strong' movie generating buzz with stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw singing

Without a huge budget or a lot of special effects, Country Strong has generated some buzz, mainly for Gwyneth Paltrow's singing. She debuted the title song for the movie, which opens in limited release this Friday, on an awards show recently. Even though the movie has not been reviewed, some are saying Paltrow's performance as washed up country singer Kelly Canter could earn her an Oscar nomination.
