Law and Order: SVU Season 12 - A Fading Star
November 18, 2010 @ 9:40 am PST    Law & Order: Special Victims Unit     Linda Moore

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit seems to have lost its footing.  In the beginning of this series the characters were new, and unusual.  It was rare to have a female detective or a male detective who was happily married with children.  The show bucked the usual cop show tradition of testosterone-filled male officers trying to find out which of them was tougher.

Instead the characters were at once heroic and believable and the episodes were centred around heart-wrenching cases and featured superior writing.

November 17, 2010 @ 11:10 am PST    Dancing with the Stars     Linda Moore

On tonight’s results show, it was clear that popularity was more important than dance technique when shy, budding dancer, Bristol Palin beat out performance-driven, skilled dancer, Brandy for a spot in the finals.

The one hour results show had the usual tricks and hour-fillers.  There were two performances from adult contemporary legend, Annie Lennox.  The sombre “Universal Child” resulted in a haunting dance by the black-clad professional dancers.

It’s coming up to that time of year again.  The summer blockbusters filled with terrific action and bad one-liners have faded into memory.  The scary Halloween slasher films with their gore and popcorn-spilling jolts have been reduced to the occasional nightmare.  The air is ripe with the smell of the sometimes sweet and often treacly films that come with the holiday season.

At the top of the leader board at the end of this evening were Jennifer and Derek.  Following them were, Kyle and Lacey  and Brandy and Maks and bringing up the bottom were Bristol and Mark.

On a warm day in November, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were photographed sharing a lingering, sexy kiss.  Is this finally confirmation for all those Robsten fans out there who insist that the couple should just “come clean” about their relationship?  No.  It isn’t.

The couple remain as protective of their right to privacy as ever.  As it turns out the cameras were not catching a glimpse of Rob and Kristen, they were watching Edward and Bella give each other a kiss while on their honeymoon.

It’s that time of year.  The air is crisper.  Mittens have been pulled out of the back of your closet.  Halloween is over.  Thanksgiving is around the corner.  All of this can only mean one thing.  That’s right!  It’s that magical time of year when all us movie-lovers get to start watching Christmas Movies!

For some, the classics like “A Christmas Carol” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” are the best, while others prefer the modern spin on Christmas tradition offered up by such greats as “Elf” a

Glee Breaks Down Stereotypes: Episode Review: Season 2 Episode 6 - Never Been Kissed
November 12, 2010 @ 12:33 pm PST    Glee     Linda Moore

Glee is a show that has never been “ordinary."  From day one it has shown that originality still has a home in Hollywood.  Episode 6 of Season 2, “Never Been Kissed,” was no different.

In this episode there were two major storylines.  The first has Kurt becoming more and more affected by the bullying he’s been experiencing at school, mostly from a burly football player named, Dave Karofsky, played by actor, Max Adler.
